Epic Pen is a fun and simple-to-use graphic editing tool that allows you to draw in any workspace, whether it is another application, the desktop, or Start menu.
The program includes just a few intuitive options that can be configured by all types of users, whether they are novices or experienced in graphic editing software.
The installation procedure takes little time to finish and does not require special attention from the user. You can run Epic Pen to view a small frame that you can move to any position on the screen, which contains standard drawing tools.
You can use a cursor, pencil, highlighter and eraser (for selected or all items, which come in four sizes and multiple colors, at user's choice. In addition, you can toggle the option between hiding and showing the ink on the screen.
The software application has minimal impact on system performance, running on low CPU and RAM. It is very responsive to commands and works well, without causing the operating system to hang, crash or pop up error dialogs.
It offers support for multiple monitors and keyboard shortcuts as well, assigned to drawing tools selections. Unfortunately, they cannot be remapped. On top of that, Epic Pen does not minimize to the system tray area or taskbar, nor provide options for capturing the screen with ink to image files.
